Very clean, unique truck for sale. I purchased this International a couple years ago to be a support truck for stuff we do around the farm, but we've only needed it a handful of times. It's registered and insured and ready to drive.
1996 International 4700, T444 7.3 diesel, auto, AIR Brakes but under CDL. Gross 25,500 lbs. 70,300 actual miles. Was previously a concrete form truck and was fleet maintained. No concrete work in the winter meant it didn't get salty and rusty.
Knapheid utility box. Excellent cab and chassis. Box needs new rear doors but compartments are in good shape. All doors but maybe 1 lock with the factory key. The two large rear boxes have some rust on the edges where the tire kicks up debris.
Nice interior. No options, no AC, no radio. Heat works.
Dash gauges work most of the time except for voltmeter which always reads low. Once in a while you have to give the dash a smack on the top to wake up the gauges...Typical International issue.
Truck is an excellent runner - can sit for months and starts immediately. I have a video of it running that I can send to anyone who's interested. It drives straight feels like a big pickup truck. Very pleasant to drive beside the lack of creature comforts.
Maintenance - when I first bought it, it stumbled and no-started a couple times. We replaced lift pump and CPS but the problem turned out to be a PCM relay on the firewall. Replaced that and it hasn't need anything since. Rear tires have some weather checking but I wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere.
